The following patches/updates are available for SARscape 4.2:

Patch 4.2.002.P03, released February 10th, 2010

  • Support JERS-1 SLC in JAXA format
  • Polar Stereographic and Stereographic False Northing and False Easting parameter management correction
  • COSMO-SkyMed ScanSAR SLC name correction
  • ASAR new AUXILIARY files
  • Cut slant range admits also inverted start end row pixels
  • Dummy values management in ANLD Filters
  • Geolocation problem with cut Radarsat 1 / 2 SLC (problem in recomputation for inverted lines / pixels)

Patch 4.2.002, released December 16th, 2009

The list below contains improvements and/or bug solutions included in this patch:

  • Cartographic system re-working and help documentation update.
  • Correction of a bug in the Polar Stereographic projection: the error happened when a Northern Hemisphere co-ordinate was transformed from Polar Stereographic to Geographic.
  • Solution of a bug in the coregistration process (all modules), which was experienced in case of wrong orbital parameters.
  • Improved Edge map generation and simplified use of the region merging (Basic Module>Segmentation).
  • Updated installation procedure and documentation.

Patch 4.2.001, released Nov 26, 2009.

The list below contains  SARscape improvements and/or bug solutions included in this version:

  • Improved geocut and geocoding processes aimed at both: aligning the output product to the correct grid size and avoiding the generation of sampled data with different number of pixels (i.e. "Sample Selection>Maximum Common Area", "Cartographic Transformation", etc.).
  • Solution of an error in the radiometric calibration of RADARSAT-2 products.
  • Solution of an error in the Coregistration/Interferogram generation executed with Digital Elevation Model and Ground Control Point.
  • Solution of an error in the update of the processing "Log File".
  • Improved Interferogram Flattening (Optimal Resolution Approach) to avoid some problems previously encountered when NaN values were in the reference Digital Elevation Model.
  • Better handling, in the Interferometry processing chain, of master-slave pairs coming from single (e.g. PALSAR FBS) and multi-polarization (e.g. PALSAR FBD) acquisitions.
  • New function to convert a Digital Elevation Model to Slope image (Tools>Conversion DEM to Slope).

The patches/updates are available via the SARscape download area (please contact us for access information).
