KNMI HDF5 Data Reader Plug-in for ENVI 4.0 |

As demonstrated at the KODAC meeting on May
22nd, we have created a KNMI HDF5 Data Reader for ENVI. In order to enable you to easily
start using the KNMI HDF5 Data which is available now, we give you the possibility to
download the demonstrated plug-in for ENVI 4.x on this page. Request your personal copy of the ENVI Installation CD by filling out the Request Information Form. Please add "CD Request" and your preferred operating system in the "Comments" block on the form. After ENVI 4.x is installed just download the plugin and save it in the 'save_add' directory of you ENVI installation. Modify the menu by adding something simular to 0 {File}
1 {Open Image File} {open envi file} {envi_menu_event}
1 {Open HDF5 File} {not used} {open_hdf5_event}
to the envi.men file located in the 'menu' directory of your ENVI installation. As an alternative you might want to rename the original menu file (envi.men) to envi.men.orginal and download this menu file and install it in your menu directory. Now you can start ENVI and browse through the contents of the KNMI HDF5 files, load images into ENVI and analyze the data using all ENVI features.
