ENVI for Students was developed in direct
response to the growing need in the student and academic community for a low-cost entry
into the world of remote sensing with ENVI analysis and visualization for students. ENVI
is the first remote sensing analysis software in the market that provides the opportunity
for valuable, hands-on data processing at a fraction of the cost of a commercial license.
ENVI for Students allows students to explore the ideas and concepts being taught in
today's curriculums in earth sciences.
ENVI for Students combines a complete image processing package with the most advanced yet
easy-to-use spectral tools. ENVI also provides geometric correction, terrain analysis,
radar analysis, raster and vector GIS capabilities, extensive support for images from a
wide variety of sources, and much more. This powerful amalgam creates a complete data
analysis and visualization environment perfect for today’s advanced earth science
courses.
ENVI for Students is priced at 75 € for a full, 12-month term license and is
available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Student Edition Limitations
- MPEG license feature is not available with the ENVI Student Edition.
- Network licenses are not available. For Network, Lab or Department Licenses of the ENVI
software for qualifying degree granting institutions please refer to the Academic Program Page.
- Technical Support (Technical Support, Updates, License Transfers) is not included with
an ENVI for Students license.

Term of Use
ENVI for Students is licensed for Student Use only. The software may be installed and used
on a single computer system owned by a student pursuing a degree at a college, university,
or high school. The license is terminated after 12 month or when the Licensee is no longer
a student pursuing a degree at a college or university, and the Licensee agrees to cease
using the ENVI for Students software and agrees to destroy all copies of the software.
ENVI for Students is not designed to replace CREASO Academic Programs such as Individual,
Lab, or Department Licenses offered to Educational Institutions. Professional, commercial,
government, or other usage of an ENVI for Students license is strictly prohibited.

ENVI for Students Ordering Information
ENVI for Students is priced at 75 € in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and
the Netherlands. Prices include tax, shipping and handling fees. Customs charges or
duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. ENVI for Students is available only for
students pursuing degrees at high schools, colleges and universities.
